Subject: New EUREF station MARS


Dear Colleagues,

I am glad to announce that from October 4 on,  a new permanent GPS
station in France (Marseille) will be included in the EUREF network.

The station is operated by the Institut Geographique National (IGN).
The complete site log can be retrieved from the EUREF permanent network
Central Bureau :
    ftp://ftpserver.oma.be/pub/astro/euref/station/log
and the data from "MARS" are available at IGN local data center.

BEK, ROB and IGN (future analysis center) have agreed to include MARS
in their routine analysis for EUREF.  We expect to see the results
in the EUREF combined solution from GPS WK 978 on.
